Job Description
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Bluejay Finance, you will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying potential investors interested in private credit investment opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads, engage with prospects, and book appointments for our Account Executives to further discuss the investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on potential investors, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, institutional investors, and other relevant parties.
- Utilize various prospecting techniques, such as cold calling, email outreach, social media engagement, and networking events, to generate leads and identify potential clients.
- Engage with prospects, utilizing strong communication skills to effectively present our investment offerings and determine their suitability for our services.
- Qualify leads based on specific criteria, ensuring that only high-quality prospects are passed on to the Account Executives.
- Schedule appointments between qualified investors and Account Executives, ensuring a seamless handoff and a positive experience for the prospect.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, lead status, and follow-up activities in the company's CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to continuously improve lead generation strategies and tactics.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to better engage with prospects.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Knowledge of private credit investments, alternative investments, or financial markets is a plus.
